Some call her Jenny or Jennifer, but she’s always been just Jen to me. She’s been a part of our family for so long that I can’t really remember life without her.
In three days it will be her and my brother’s ten year marriage anniversary and they both have the ice rink to thank for bringing them together. He’s a hockey player and she’s an ice skater who also shares the same exact birth date. Seriously?
It must be fate.
Call me selfish but I would HATE to share my birthday with Tyler (my Tyler). My brother’s name is also Tyler so things get confusing quite quickly around here. Luckily, these two are anything but selfish when it comes to their family. They are the greatest parents to the most adorable kiddos and I am eternally indebted to them for making me an Auntie.
So, to celebrate their anniversary Jen wanted to do something special by surprising Tyler with these pictures to reminisce about the good ole days. Since she rarely gets a chance to see the ice now that she’s super mom, he loves the fact that she’s out doing things that make her happy. Unfortunately, he came across the pictures a little too soon and spoiled the surprise.
He LOVED them, but darn it….I hate when surprises get ruined.
At least now that means I can share my talented sister-in-law with everyone three days early! Isn’t she beautiful?
Happy early anniversary you two!
